It’s been a busy week for me, but here’s some updates from Minorin’s blog. Minorin’s been pretty busy as well, especially her being in Nagoya a few days back as part of her tour. Here’s her with her team.

Minorin’s really great at lives. Hearing and seeing her performing live are one of my goals to achieve. Minorin wrote that she enjoyed Nagoya, she having a really nice time there and briefly mentioning about the food - Nagoya miso anyone?.

See that a lot of people are hitting upon my site looking for some tasty Melty tale storage news. Minorin’s single will be out next week, Wednesday the 26th. Have you ordered your copy yet, or are you waiting for torrents to appear? I’m quite disappointed that, yet again, I did not get to pre-order the first press edition… Here’s Minorin showing off her goodies: the single and posters… me want those posters.

Finally, Minorin wrote about her recording her character single for Chiaki Minami from Minami-ke. Anyone up for a pre-order?

Too bad it isn’t summer yet… it was actually raining when we had the soumen. SAMS seems to be having out of season Japanese activities this few weeks^^ Nagashi soumen, as the Japanese like to do in summer, involves flowing white noodles down a shoot of bamboo in ice cold water. You try to catch the flowing noodles with a pair of chopsticks, and what you catch is dunked into a fish-soy-mirin based sauce and eaten.
Before I continue, here’s a webpage on how to have your own nagashi soumen: http://toyohara.com/inaka/somen-e.htm. The effort of cutting the bamboo was… well, a LOT. Thanks to everyone who took time to help and prepare!
Edit: Due to requests, I’ll put up the steps to have your own nagashi soumen party.
Tags: Food, Japanese, SAMSTsuruya-san is my favourite character in The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. She lols so much that most of the time I lol together as well. Laughter is infectious and a great medicine indeed. So, what does Max Factory have to offer over Alter’s Tsuruya-san? I prefer this version a lot, as I see a figure which resembles closely to what her anime counterpart feels like: energetic and great at flaunting her assets - whether it’s her fang, her laughter or her marketing skills o.O

Will post something very soon. Give me time to write something.
Before then, here’s a simple question to keep you guys busy: 2D or 3D?
I’ll be greedy and say I’ll have both and much more
