Let me start with a small introduction.

Hajimemashite! Nice to meet you! (Stolen from the interwebs)
Hi there! I’m rain, and I’m the accompanying blogger for I’ve Anime! blog. This is my personal blog, as well as the official I’ve Anime! Convention blog. I’ll be covering the major events going about our Convention as well as Swinburne Anime and Manga Society activities. Besides that, I’ll be blogging mainly about PVC figures and seiyuus. I’m the current president and one of the founders of the club mentioned above.
Anime interests
I’m very much into PVC figures and seiyuu culture, besides all the other various anime related love. I started following anime closely somewhere in 2004. I’m very bad with old school stuff!
The first few people who introduced me to figures are friend RyuShikimori and fellow figure bloggers lu-k and super rats. I love collecting figures and displaying them. Photographing them has been a bit of a hassle as I do not own a camera. But that’s one of my goals that I hopefully can achieve soon.
As for seiyuu, I first noticed them while lurking in the Animesuki forums. hashihime and houkoholic are the first few people who got me really interested in seiyuu. I’m a diehard fan of Chihara Minori and is impressed by Koshimizu Ami, both young talent which I enjoy listening to.
Favourite anime character: LOL FANG TAN
Favourite anime: Juuni Kokuki/The Twelve Kingdoms
Figures in possession: 15
Seiyuu I would love to meet in person: Chihara Minori, Mamiko Noto
Personal background
I’m a Malaysian Chinese, living in Kuching, the Cat City smack right in the jungles of Borneo Island. I’m studying to become software programmer at Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. Programming is probably my most polished and marketable skill.
I also enjoy playing the guitar and the bass, and play mostly for my church. Learning the piano and keyboard is on my mind. Some of my other hobbies include jogging, and fishing as well as crabbing, essentially enjoying my backyard.
I’m pretty bad at explaining religion stuff, but I believe in the Way, the Truth and the Life. And I try my utmost best to live that life everyday, and to be the salt and light of the earth for Jesus Christ.
So what am I doing now?
I’m organising the first anime convention in Kuching - I’ve Anime! ‘09. Including other events that I’m involved with… fuu it’s gonna be busy months ahead for me.
